Modesty in all its forms

Ever since reading and conversing on the 4RealLearning threads http://4real.thenetsmith.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=7461&PN=2 and http://4real.thenetsmith.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=7641&PN=1 about modesty, I have been thinking about what it means to be modest, not just in what we wear, but even in how we act. Ladies should act ... well, like ladies, no? The question which arises then is, how does one act ladylike? How can one truly follow the example of our Blessed Mother when she was perfect and her child was perfect and she had a wonderful, saintly husband? While searching for that answer, I think I'll try to be quieter, more understanding, less in a hurry, more gracious, more loving, more nurturing, ... Wow! This is quite the bill to fill. Any other ideas?
